Developing a Basketball Learning Model Using the Teaching Game for Understanding (TGfU) Approach to Improve the Effectiveness of HOTS in Elementary Schools

Study purpose. The researcher realizes that not all physical education teachers in elementary schools provide basketball lessons and some still use conventional learning techniques. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of a model with TGfU approach increase HOTS reduce bullying.
 Materials methods. used quantitative test validity content constructs as well model. experimental subjects this were fifth-grade students totaling 165 respondents from 5 Central Java, Indonesia. Data analysis small-scale trials Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA) path analysis, large-scale Confirmatory (CFA) analysis. paired-samples t-test was analyze reduction Results. result is utilizes bullying behavior form guidebook.
 Conclusions. developed can will affect students’ cognitive, affective psychomotor outcomes. So easy, safe, makes more enthusiastic about learning.
